The American College of Radiology (ACR) was founded in 1924 with the core purpose of serving patients and society by empowering members to advance the practice, science and professions of radiological care. The College is a membership organization representing more than 38,000 diagnostic radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists and medical physicists.
